Quicksilver (90's)
Hello everyone. Back again with another custom reveal. Continuing the X-Villain theme, here is #3 of 4 (villains), Quicksilver.
Good ole Pietro was made using a ANAD Spider Man 2099 figure with Sunfire feet and alt hands from a Morbious figure. The head is a custom cast from Casting Cave. I bought one a long time ago to use for Namor and always wanted to use one for a proper Quicksilver. So I finally did.
Sculpting was pretty minimal on this one. I sculpted the lightning bolt (the chest was a pain in my ass) and the boot and glove cuffs. The only thing I wish I would have done in retrospect is paint his neck skin color instead of leaving it blue. I was using the old Hasbro figure as reference and didn’t really notice how much it looks kinda off until I was shooting pictures of him. Regardless of the neck, I am still pretty happy with how he turned out.
