Gorgon (Inhumans)
Hey everyone. My next custom was made for fellow customizer Omarali. We decided to do a figure swap together. One of the characters on his list was on my very first Summer Swap list I ever received. At the time, I didn’t feel like I was good enough to tackle such a project, but when it reappeared on Omar’s list, I just couldn’t resist. Without further adieu, here is the mighty Gorgon.
Gorgon was made using a Nuke body (and head) with some lower legs from a Magic the Gathering figure (not sure which one, but they were heavily modified). His hands are from Radioactive Man, the cape is from a Kylo Ren and the collar from a Ghost Rider figure.
Building Gorgon was a challenge. First and foremost, those horse legs. UGH. What a struggle to make them work and be functional. I also struggled with getting the cape and the collar to work without impeding neck articulation. But even throughout the struggles, this figure was fun to see come together and I am quite satisfied with the end result.
I am grateful I had the opportunity and the challenge of making this figure and I am happy it went to my buddy Omarali. He has been a great source of feedback for me to bounce my ideas off of and it was fun to make something for his collection and even better receiving a piece of his work for my collection (he made me a Mr Sinister and it turned out AWESOME!)
